Powdered Activated Carbon
Powdered activated carbons have very low particle size. The particle sizes are between 80-325. Its surface area is larger than granular activated carbon and its diffusion rate is low. It is commonly produced from coconut shell, coal and wood. Powder activated carbons, which are very easy to use, are added to the solution, mixed and separated by filtration.
